Common Thread Learning collects only the information needed to respond to inquiries and deliver client work. This page explains what we collect, how it is used, where it is stored, and how to have it removed.

What we collect

Through the inquiry form: your name, organization, email address, the type of organization and audience, the service you are interested in, your answers to the project questions, your indicated timeline and budget range, and your preferred language.

Through the client portal: account details, project information, documents you upload, messages you send, and any supporting documents submitted with a needs-based pricing request.

We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell or rent personal information.

How we use it

To reply to your inquiry, prepare a proposal, and carry out agreed project work.

To maintain project records, invoices and contracts required for normal business and tax purposes.

We do not add inquiry contacts to a marketing list without your consent.

Storage and service providers

Information is stored in a hosted database and file storage operated by our platform provider, with access restricted to Common Thread Learning and, for project files, the client who submitted them.

Proposal drafting uses an automated writing service that processes the content of your inquiry. Files you upload to the portal are stored privately and are not publicly accessible.

We keep inquiry and project records for as long as needed for the working relationship and for legal and accounting requirements.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us through the contact page and we will confirm within a reasonable time.

Some records, such as issued invoices, must be retained to meet accounting obligations.
