A consulting practice for organizations that hold real subject expertise but do not have dedicated curriculum-development capacity.
The work
Depending on the project, an engagement may mean reviewing an existing curriculum, designing a new course, connecting multiple levels into a coherent pathway, developing a complete educational program, or setting a broader learning strategy.
Educational design is only half of it. Alongside outcomes, sequence and assessment, I consider what determines whether a program actually works: instructor capacity, learner readiness, family and participant communication, staffing, enrollment, resources, organizational processes and evaluation.
Background
I am based in Vancouver, British Columbia, with more than a decade in education — as an educator first, then in program leadership inside a large arts-education organization.
A background in educational psychology informs how outcomes and progression are designed; experience with enrollment, scheduling, staffing and instructor onboarding keeps that design usable once it reaches a real room. Clients work with me directly on every engagement.
